VISCERAL Track at the MICCAI Medical Computer Vision Workshop

Participants in the VISCERAL Anatomy2 Benchmark have the opportunity to participate in the VISCERAL Track of the Medical Computer Vision Workshop held as a MICCAI post-conference workshop.

The deadline for submission to the VISCERAL track is the 30th of June 2014 (midnight on Baker Island, UTC-12). Papers should be a maximum of 8 pages long using the workshop proceedings template, and should describe the techniques used in participating in the Anatomy2 Benchmark. Submit the papers using the workshop submission system, but select the "contribution to the VISCERAL session" option.

Papers will be peer-reviewed, and acceptance notifications sent out on the 24th of July, one week before the MICCAI early bird registration deadline (1st of August). Some papers will be selected for oral presentation in the VISCERAL session, while others will be presented in the poster session.

Results of the evaluation will be released on the 30th of July, so they need not be included in the initial paper submission. The workshop proceedings will be published in Springer LNCS after the workshop, and additional pages will be allowed for the final version of the paper so that the results of the Benchmark can be included.

The VISCERAL project will also provide a small number of student grants to attend the workshop for VISCERAL participants that are PhD students, covering airfare and maximum two nights in a hotel. To apply, send an e-mail to by the 4th of July including your CV. The student grant notification will also take place on the 24th of July.
